Hope

Sometimes I just feel like giving up: I'll never have a pair of pants I love; I'll never be happy.  Now, I think this is most likely true, but humans are excellent at deluding themselves.  Therefore, every now and then, even I have hope that I might find a great pant.

I've written about Bonobos before, an artisinal pant maker based right here in New York City.  I don't want to go into a major analysis right now, but the pants below, from their "Game Day Chinos" line, make me feel like maybe I have a chance.

A further investigation is warranted.  Reports to follow.

The fit is superb: a straight cut, slim but by no means tight.
