I am wearing a pair of pants I quite like; however, that being said, I noticed after purchasing them that there are two belt lopes in too-close proximity in the posterior section of the pants.
This is really not pleasing to the eye and not acceptable.
Here is a more proper belt-loop configuration. Note the one loop in the dead-center of the posterior section. Two loops further spaced apart is also acceptable.

Is the loop problem a make-or-break thing? No, no it's not. Still, it's certainly not good and I'm more than a little embarrassed. Whenever I'm walking down the street and there are pedestrians behind me I feel a surge of self-consciousness and I often move to the side and let the individuals walk ahead of me. I can just feel their eyes focusing on my belt loops!
"Look at that ridiculous loop configuration," they say as they point and laugh.
