I would be remiss if I did not mention that I had hotpot this past Saturday. Hotpot is a Chinese feast consisting of a pot of boiling liquid in which you cook thin slices of meat and various vegetables, noodles and intestines (we took a pass on the intestines).
I would also be remiss if I did not mention the broccoli rabe pasta I made the other day. I had looked at a recipe from Mark Bittman earlier in the day and just kind of went off my memory. I added some red onion for fun. I think I should of cut the broccoli rabe into smaller pieces but oh well.
Finally, I would be remiss if I did not mention Johnny Utah, the hero of Point Break, the greatest bank heist/surfer/skydiving/awesome movie ever.
(I think this post is a little better than yesterday's but not necessarily by much).
