Tomorrow I am going to Philadelphia. I had assumed I would take a Greyhound bus. The bus ticket would be $45 round trip. Just for kicks, I checked Amtrak's site, and a round trip train ticket would be $90. Um, I'm taking Amtrak, thank you very much.
Once I took a Greyhound bus from Pittsburgh to San Francisco (not exactly a comfortable experience). On the way back, I took Amtrak (a very comfortable experience). Anyway, I just love trains in general, so much so that I applied to Long Island Rail Road to be a conductor. Sadly, I never got called for an interview.
Anyway, I'm excited to take the train. Have a nice weekend, and Food & Pants will be back on Monday!
