Bad Pants Sighting

Hello. I'm going to be starting a new feature called 'Bad Pants Sighting.' Whenever it is possible, I will take a picture of someone wearing a horrible pair of pants and post it on this blog. I am doing this for two reasons. One, to utterly embarrass the offending pants wearer, and two, to educate FAPPAF readers and prevent them from making a similar mistake.

Anyway, here is the first Bad Pants Sighting...


Ok, so there are a few things to discuss here. First, the color of the pants - white. In my opinion -- which, given my expertise and stature in these matters is really not an opinion but more of a fact -- white pants should NEVER been worn by men. There is an exception, and that is if it's part of a white suit, in which case it's acceptable if a) it's summer b) you are incredibly chic and c) you're in France. Otherwise forget it.

Moving on, the next problem with these pants is the fit. It's a little hard to tell in this picture for the untrained eye, but the pants are short and are also cut ridiculously wide. Not good.

Finally, and it's impossible to tell from this picture, but these pants are cargo pants. Cargo pants are unacceptable unless you are doing yard work and live in the suburbs, and even then it's still pretty much unacceptable.

In conclusion, these are bad pants.
