I don't mean to beat a dead horse, or a dead anything for that matter, but I must return to the subject of these JCrew pants with the shield designs (or what I thought were shield designs).
Yesterday I reported the pants were on sale for $59.99, down from a whopping $95. That is still true. What I missed was the nature of the designs on these pants. I thought that it was a shield emblem, sort of like a coat of arms. However, that is simply not the case.
As I was closing my Internet "looker" or "browser," I noticed the pants are called the "Critter Chinos." When I saw the word "critter" my heart stopped, and I said, "Please, God, no." Well, using sophisticated imaging software, I have indeed confirmed that the design on the pants is not a regal coat of arms, but rather a furry "critter."
Hi - I'm a critter! I'm wearing what appears to be one of those baseball training shirts with blue arms and a white torso! Yeah!
Anyway, I'm confused now. In a certain sense, no, under no circumstances should a man walk around in pants that have little logos or designs all over the place, much less little teddy bears designs. But in another sense, I really do like cozy critters. I'm really just confused. These pants are horrible! No, they're kind of cute! No they're horrible! No...
I like ribs.
